Riding Scary Ghost Tour

Savannah is reputed to be 'America's Most Haunted City,' as seen in shows like Scariest Places on Earth and Ghost Hunters. The Riding Scary Ghost Tour starts at the historic and haunted Pirate's House, where unfortunate men were press-ganged into service starting in the mid-1700s. You'll learn about the Hampton-Lillibridge House, where the malevolent spirits that reside within, have, so far, ignored several exorcisms. You'll also hear about murder and death at the Mercer-Williams House, plus many more ghost stories on this 90-minute tour. We've included a stop at the eerie Colonial Park Cemetery, the oldest existing cemetery in Georgia, where bodies were burned in the Morgue Tunnel during the yellow fever outbreaks. There's a good chance a spirit or ghost will appear in your digital photographs on this tour, so cameras are a must. Be prepared to be scared.

Tour departs every evening at 8:00 p.m. from The Pirate's House, 20 East Broad Street. Free parking is available.

Tour Price:

Walking Ghost Tour

For those of you brave enough to stroll the streets of 'America's Most Haunted City,' this is the tour for you. Come rain or starry night, whether the sea fog swirls or not, you'll tour The Historic District on the 90-minute Walking Scary Ghost Tour. Starting at the historic and haunted Pirate's House, you'll pass the Hampton-Lilibridge House, where the malevolent spirits that reside within, have, so far, ignored several exorcisms. You'll stop at the eerie Colonial Park Cemetery, the oldest existing cemetery in Georgia, where bodies were burned in the Morgue Tunnel during the yellow fever outbreaks. Your tour guide will tell you true stories, and legends that cannot be disproved, of both murder and death, and of hauntings by evil and playful spirits, who seem unable or unwilling to leave Savannah. We cannot tell you why the camera lens sees more than the naked eye, so bring your digital camera, and prepare to be amazed at the resulting images.
